Environmental - PCB's

Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCBs) were used in manufacturing processes, oil cooled products, transformers, ballasts, etc. PCBs have been banned by the EPA due to the adverse health effects to humans and animals. The adverse health effects associated with PCBs exposure can impact the body's circulatory, nervous and respiratory systems. In accordance with applicable laws PCBs must be identified prior to being disturbed by renovation or demolition activities. The Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) regulates activities associated with PCBs.
