Demolition and asbestos abatement was performed at the Wartburg on the Schmidt Memorial Building and the maintenance garage. These buildings were taken down to below grade and backfilled. Underground storage tanks and a pedestrian bridge were also demolished.
Special attention was required relating to dust, noise and other environmental concerns due to a high elderly population and their health concerns.
Project monitoring and all New York State inspections and clearances were performed efficiently.
