Former Seymour Wire Company, Seymour, CT
As a former wire manufacturing facility, the work consisted of demolition and remediation of concrete, brick and wood factory buildings, office buildings, warehouse facilities, tanks farms and a central heating and steam facility.
In addition to a substantial asbestos remediation, we removed 2,000 tons of contaminated soil containing lead, PCBs, arsenic and cadmium. We worked near and protected sections of the Naugatuck River, active Metro North Railway tracks and Routes 8 & 67.
