This project consisted of the asbestos abatement and demolition one main building with Quonset-type outer buildings. This location previously was used as an orchard. The soil remediation involved the removal of tanks and approximately 700 yards of topsoil contaminated by arsenic and fertilizers. Concerns relating to soil excavation and waste handling and neighbor concerns involved dust suspension during the removal process.
The site restoration involved the installation of plantings and hydroseeding.
