Stamford Wrecking was called on New Year’s Eve to assist fire crews and arson squad personnel at this three alarm fire in a turn of the century school. The school was a three story school of approximately 150,000 sq ft. the fire created a situation where asbestos contaminated debris created a hazard to the surrounding residential neighborhood. We demolished the structure, remediated the site, removed one 3,000 underground storage tank and a second larger tank.
